Cold Aggregate Feeding and Heating:

Cold aggregates are fed into the cold aggregate bins and transported to the drying drum via conveyors. The drying drum, equipped with high-efficiency burners, uses energy-saving combustion technology to heat the aggregates. The drum's optimized structure enables the recycling of hot air, minimizing heat loss and improving fuel efficiency.

Aggregate Drying and RAP Usage:

The dried aggregates, along with recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) if used, are transferred to the mixing section. The RAP, which contains reusable asphalt and aggregates, is preheated and mixed with the hot aggregates.

Mixing Process:

In the mixing chamber, the hot aggregates, RAP, and bitumen are thoroughly mixed. The plant features precise temperature control and automated systems that monitor and regulate the mixture's temperature and composition, ensuring efficient energy use and high-quality output.

Emissions Control and Environmental Protection:

What are the types of Asphalt Mixing Plant?

Asphalt mixing plant is the general asphalt production equipment that is broadly applied to road construction, such as urban and rural roads, parking lots, highways, airports, harbors, and other paved surfaces. Nowadays, road construction plays an important role in the development of the economy. Therefore, there is a larger demand for the asphalt batch plant on the market. In general, it can be divided into various types according to different standards as follows.
According to process flow (mixing method):
It can be divided into: Continuous Drum Type and Intermittent Forced Type. Continuous Drum Type, that is, the production is carried out in a continuous and uninterrupted mixing mode, and the heating and drying of aggregates and the mixing of mixed materials are carried out continuously in the same drum. Forced Intermittent Type, that is, the heating and drying of aggregates and the mixing of mixed materials are forced to be carried out periodically. The equipment stirs each pot separately, and each stirring takes 45 to 60 seconds. The output depends on the equipment model.
According to production capacity:
It can be divided into: Small, Medium and Large. Small, that is, the productivity is below 40t/h. Medium, that is, the productivity is between 40 and 400t/h. Large, that is, the productivity is above 400t/h.
According to handling method (migration method):
It can be divided into: Mobile, Semi-fixed and Fixed. Mobile, that is, the silo and mixing pot are equipped with tires, which can be moved with the construction site, suitable for county and township roads and low-grade highway projects. Semi-fixed, that is, the equipment is installed on several trailers and assembled at the construction site, mostly used for highway construction. Fixed, that is, the equipment operation site is fixed, also known as asphalt concrete processing plant, suitable for concentrated engineering and urban road construction.
